Growing up in the North Georgia Mountains, Josh spent his childhood much like any other kid. He set up elaborate battlefields with his GI Joes and staged martial arts showdowns between characters like Jinx and Storm Shadow. In between these epic wars, he enjoyed swimming and playing basketball, but always had a fascination with logos and textures from a young age.
As a pre-teen, Josh delved into QuarkXpress and Photoshop, taking advantage of his early 486 computer and Windows 3.11. Growing up around publishing and pre-press environments gave him a strong understanding of industry-standard programs and professional workflows. As the internet emerged, he shifted his focus from print to digital design, animation, and programming.
Josh's skills in Macromedia Flash propelled him into the digital realm, and over the years, he has worked for many agencies and held numerous senior positions in design and programming. As a freelance designer, he has collaborated with a diverse range of brands and agencies, bringing many exciting projects to life.
Throughout his career, Josh has worked with a wide range of industries, including automotive, commercial, corporate marketing, video games, and even feature films. His client list is diverse, and he continues to build a strong portfolio of work across different mediums.
